Welcome to my studio! 

 

My name is Addi Lemmon, I am a painter, illustrator, and lover of foraging & folklore, based in rural Waterford, Ontario. I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2022, where I received a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Studio Art with a minor in Art History. Since then, I have produced multiple works for commissions as well as for my inner child, shown and sold work in galleries and art markets in Guelph and Norfolk County, and organized my own small-group camps and workshops. 

My art practice is rooted in my connection to my environment, creating and sharing from a place of meditation, conservation, and appreciation of our surroundings. No matter the medium, the exploration of my surrounding environment and noticing everyday interactions with nature, as well as leading outdoor-artmaking workshops and camps, keeps my practice whimsically grounded in play. In the current societal climate of this digital age, I have found a religiosity in walking, collecting, and making meditationally and with reverence for those daily interactions.
